Let's Go Fishing!
Welcome to Captain Doug Adventures!
Aloha friends,
I’m originally from Miami, Florida. So was my father, and his father. I was destined to live my life on the water. Having grown up in Islamorada, Florida Keys, I spent my childhood fishing on my dad’s charter boat. We traveled throughout the Keys, Miami, Bahamas, Mexico and Belize. By the time I was ten, I had caught more fish and logged more hours on the ocean than most people do in their entire lives. After graduating college in 1995, I was recruited into the charter boat industry. Soon I began competing in international Marlin tournaments. My travels have taken me from Bermuda to Hawaii, the Virgin Islands to Australia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, and everywhere in between. I’ve loved every minute of it.
